About the event

By The Time My System Is Operational, Most Of The Models Are Outdated. Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz, Oh How to Fix This?

Yes, you guessed it right. Actually, Architecture of your system was never created in the first place. You just had some random set of implementation details (models) supplied by your software and hardware raw material suppliers and you thought you have ARCHITECTURE in place because it had English word ARCHITECTURE written on it.

Architecture models are single variable model while implementation models are the multi-variable composite model. And you had so many of later ones. That means your Architecture was inside your implementation details? and that’s why instead of saying “implementation” needs to change, we keep hearing Architecture needs to change. The elements of the Periodic table don’t change.

Similarly, architecture elements don’t change. What changes is the composite models (implementation models). We can create multiple implementation models from same set of architecture elements
